FRONT ROW TO THE CONCERT!

Q & A with Tenth Avenue North!

Phil Wickham was amazing. He has a voice of Elvis mixed with angel. When he sang Heaven's song. UGHHH SO BEAUTIFUL.

Tenth Avenue North is amazing we every time them. They have such a strong message. They started with the beginning of their journey as a band to where they are now.

Sorry I don’t have more pictures/videos, I was wayyy into the concert to have my phone out.

Moments to forever remember:

Mike rapping Fresh Prince of Belair

“Haters gonna hate, hate, hate?"

LOSING and JUST GETTING BY are my favorite songs ever and they did awesome twists to the song live!

“First we want you to know the love of God is over you and underneath you. At the heights of your purity, He went higher. At the depths of your depravity, He went lower. He brings down the proud and lifts up the broken. His love is here. He is by your side. He holds your heart through thick and thin, joy and pain, gain and loss. There is nowhere you can go where He is not. May that get in you. May the light meet the dark. May you realize you are more than your mistakes. He is strong enough to save you, and you don’t have to save yourself. Which means, among other things, you can take your masks off and let the light in. This is where the healing begins. There is healing from trying to prove yourself, freedom from trying to be your own savior, and freedom to admit your struggles. After all, we are free to struggle, but we’re not struggling to be free. And if you get that, then you can begin to be honest. You can admit you feel like losing. You can open up when you feel worn. And best of all, as Philippines 1:30 reminds, we can struggle together.

Together.

Made in the image of the trinity, we are made for community. We are made to bear each other’s burdens. We are made to reflect the joy and otherness of the divine relationship. We weren’t meant to live this life alone. “No man is an island,” John Donne famouly mused, and so that is our hope. We pray this collection of songs would lead us off our islands of isolation and help us sail by the stars of God’s promises to the shores of communion. Together, we will taste and see God for who He is, and as we do so, we will become his cathedrals to the earth. We will become the dwelling place of His spirit and a sanctuary for sinners.

In other words, wherever you go, if you are in Christ, you bring Him with you. There is no such thing as a secular place, because wherever you are, you have the sacred inside. All the earth is holy ground. May you feel the weight of His glory with every step you take, for we are His cathedrals.”
